I’m collecting information on the recent power surges to see if we can get PECO to improve their infrastructure to hopefully avoid future losses.
I’m thinking we may get a better response as a group. In that regard, I’m trying to get a count on anyone who has lost appliances, equipment (computer, treadmill, TV, etc.), electrical components (sockets, breakers, wiring, etc.), minor items (lamps, light bulbs, surge protector strips, etc.) or other surge related costs (installation of new surge protectors to reduce/avoid future surges). Looking specifically for those living in the Landenberg area.
I’ve commented on other people’s posts but thought it would be good to start a dedicated trail. I’ll try to collect the information from those posts, but feel free to repeat here.
Please DM me if interested in sharing experiences to hopefully improve our electrical service. Feel free to describe your situation so that as a group we can a) possibly solve our problems, and/or b) gather a collective of information to use as examples to discuss with those who have the power to make things happen to stop or significantly reduce the negative impacts of the surges.
